On behalf of the Lake County Board of (Mental Retardation) Development Disabilities, its’ staff and citizens it serves, I want to thank the voters of Lake County for overwhelmingly supporting the Board’s replacement levy on last Tuesday’s ballot.
Because of your generosity and support, we will continue to provide a wide range of comprehensive services to our most vulnerable population.
However, our work is not done. We pledge to you that our organization will continue to think “out of the box” in developing various programs and services that will enhance the quality of lives of those we serve.
You have provided us with your sacred trust and as board members, parents of special needs children and taxpayers, we will continue to be diligent stewards of those public dollars you have granted us.
Lake County residents have always been very caring and supportive of programs for our consumers. The results from last Tuesday’s election again reaffirms that conviction.
Again, please accept my deepest gratitude for your support and know that we will continue to work hard every day to maintain your trust.
